Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Providing the logistic interface between the plant and the customers daily, developing the relationship with customers
* Receiving and solving all the customer requirements, monitors customer orders – client’s main point of contact, following up
* Assuring the integration of all orders in the computer system and delivered just in time – administration of the data through e-mail, fax, phone or SAP system
* Creating actions for improving the process of delivery to customer forecast accuracy
* Checking the customer ´s demand, making sure it follow the capacity sold
* Providing communication through production and the logistics department to ensure the timely deliveries to the customers
* Measures and analyses the daily delivery performance, offers solutions for its improvement;
* Reporting and looking over the SIOP process

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

Italian - Upper intermediate (B2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

*University degree or equivalent required
*Min. 2 years of experience in Operations and Supply chain business
*Experience in working with customer, sales or logistics in the automotive industry is a preferable
*Languages: fluent English and Italian is required
* Demonstrates ability to create and maintain strong customer relationship (external and internal).
*Is familiar with all aspects of production planning, capacity analysis and production scheduling (MRP / MPS / SIOP).
*Understands Sales, Inventory & Operations Plan reports & analysis.
*Has a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
*Has good understanding of material handling flows and internal traceability system.
