Job description, responsibilities and duties

Honeywell EMEAI consists of 17 sites covering Production & Manufacturing and Repair & Overhaul in BG&A / D&S and ATR market segments with a diverse range of mechanical, avionic and other product types requiring regulatory, customer and project / business development compliance. Responsibilities for this OEM role includes: 



  • Establish and maintain OEM Quality Compliance processes meeting regulatory, customer and project goals and requirements ensuring compliance and business development. 

  • Provide Quality leadership / program management for new business introduction (projects), ensuring business and regulatory compliance as applicable across OEM. 

  • Provide Quality support for product transitions. Implement product and process improvements / controls to assure sustained process / product quality results at the completion of the transitions. 

  • Ensure strong linkage with Global OEM Leadership, teams and project management. 

  • Lead, advise and support site based quality / business leaders and specialists regarding national and international Quality based regulation and business compliancy/ growth. 

  • Ensure effective problem resolution for EMEAI OEM sites regarding business, regulatory and customer concerns. 

  • Responsible for generating, monitoring, and reporting business specific regulatory (Quality) metrics to the Quality and ISC functions, as well as the business segments. 

  • Drive continuous product and process Quality improvements across the ISC value chain, including Quality engagement into Honeywell Operating System (HOS) deployment. 

  • Effectively represent the company / EMEAI at customer, regulatory agency, and management meetings. 

  • Assure that all product and process quality problems are satisfactorily resolved through application of the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process. Establish and execute quality improvement plans for systemic product and process defects.

  • Interface with the business segment Customer Quality representatives, providing support and responsiveness to customer requirements flow down, quality initiatives, compliancy related problem resolution. 

  • Interface with the Sourcing Quality organization to support, address and resolve supplier quality issues.

  • Drive Quality process standardization within EMEAI OEM sites.
