Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Provide customer/sales technical support on new or existing application as well as private labeled products.
  • Authorizing and tracking of single phase product modification projects and tracking 5 phase product development projects.
  • Articulate customer requirements to engineering group and act as liaison between engineering and customers as necessary and as directed by the product management team.
  • Assisting Product Management with developing training material, understanding and utilizing manufacturing cost systems for development of cost reduction proposals, and addressing product related technical calls from field sales.
  • Web tool development and maintenance. Cross reference tool development and maintenance.
  • Provide Technical Support to Product Marketing through field visits and conversations with customers, the candidate must strive to understand competitive positions at the tactical level such as competitive pricing and position strategies.
  • Participation in manufacturing plant SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, Production) processes.
  • Working with product management, the candidate will be responsible for assisting with developing product development programs designed to meet organizational growth and profit goals.
  • Assist in portfolio rationalization & product road maps from a technical perspective.
  • Ability to perform a competitive analysis (technical) Identification of new technologies being used in applications.
  • Coordinate with Honeywell Labs as focal point between the business and the labs including translating customer VOC results into technology development CTQs.
