Job description, responsibilities and duties


  • Exciting opportunity for a dynamic, results orientated Senior Quality engineer to drive cross Line of Business(LoB) Quality improvement during the New Product Introduction(NPI) process.

  • The job focus The job will focus on deployment/coaching of an Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) system. Ensuring Quality are involved early in the NPI to clearly identify and specify Critical To Quality parameters. Then to work with the cross functional team to ensure we have a robust risk mitigation process and effective process capability to deliver products with a high quality standard . Opportunity to actively ustilise Six Sigma tools on a day to day basis to drive improvement.

  • The role will not only involve verification but we will also be involved with validation to ensure there is no unexpected variation in our processes and design. This will involve reliability testing to understand the level of redundancy built into our designs to ensure in application our products fully meet customers needs.
