Job description, responsibilities and duties


  • Provides Procurement leadership and expertise and best value solutions to the EMEA organization on MRO and Common Capital Commodities.

  • Develops robust commodity strategies for the Procurement Organization, with consideration to quality, cost, speed and service requirements, market conditions, risks and exposures, competitive landscape, and projected changes over the strategic planning horizon; global industry trends, suppliers’ capabilities, and overall supply chain expertise

  • Sources and negotiate national/regional/global agreements with suppliers to support the Procurement strategies.

  • Develops metrics to analyze and measure the supplier performance and lead Supplier Quarterly Business reviews in collaboration with internal customers/key stakeholders.

  • Identifies and drives cost reduction opportunities and Cash Improvement initiatives to meet or exceed Annual Operating Plan

  • Maintains knowledge repository on all Corporate supplier relationships and documentation & acts as corporate expert on this matter

  • Gains proficiency in procurement tools and processes necessary to manage assigned commodities.

  • Identifies and drives strategic sourcing projects;

  • Maximizes use of electronic procurement tools, where applicable & drive the accuracy of the tool information.

  • Provides leadership in areas of commodity supply management decision-making

  • Drives to achieve /exceed goals; steadfastly pushes self and others for results

  • Strong work ethic; self starter; results orientation

  • Drives supplier base optimization

Requirements for the employee

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
