Job description, responsibilities and duties

Provide primary technical pre-sales support to Honeywell Scanning and Mobility partners and/or End Users in one or more regions assigned to you. 

As Solutions Architect, you will provide primary technical pre-sales support to Honeywell Scanning and Mobility partners and/or End Users in one or more regions assigned to you. You will be based in one of Honeywell offices. 

The role requires extensive travel, primarily to customer sites but also to Honeywell office locations 

This position will only suit a focused and motivate pre sales technician who can prove a strong technical background of barcode data collection terminals, wireless technologies barcode readers. Knowledge on printers and RFID is more than welcome. 

Principal accountabilities 
  • Assist in the sale of all HSM services to meet customers individual needs. 
  • Facilitate contract closure 
  • Establish strong relationships with customers and partners to be recognized as the trusted technical advisor.
  • Ability to select from the HSM products and services portfolio the full solution that best fitted the customer needs 
  • Project manage and support pilot installations, coordinating installation activities with various internal and external support groups, addressing and elevating any technical issues promptly 
  • Ensure that your assigned sales representatives understand the features and function set of each HSM product and solution 
  • Develop training plans in according with the Solution Architect leader, to ensure that all assigned partners have the right knowledge to propose and support the HSM products portfolio. 
  • Develop in according with the Solution Architect Regional leader the plan to propose and promote Remote Mastermind 
  • Keep the CRM system up to date with all pre sales related activity including (but not limited to) projects, technical profile, customer visits, MSAS deck, EWR and SKU requirement. Take responsibility for the data integrity in the system. 
  • Be able to report weekly performance to the Solution Architect Regional team leader with focus on specific issues and customers needs that could negatively impact the sales goals achievement. Furthermore, project progress, pilot status, al all times, understands the ???health of the business being managed.
