Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

*Work as a software engineer to investigate and fix software Change Requests (CRs) in the existing MkII, MkIII, EPIC and/or 787 Communication Management Unit/Function (CMU/CMF) products and tools.
*Develop requirements, design, and code for new CMU/CMF development.
*Update code and test software written in C and Object Geode Specification and Definition Language (SDL)
*Update and create System and Software Requirements, Software Development documentation, and Verification & Validation documentation.
*Modify, create, and perform software test procedures, scripts, and reports for informal and formal validation.
*Provide weekly technical status.
*Ensure technical tasks are completed on-time and within given requirements.
*Setup of SW environment on a real target HW platform - Real Time Operating System (RTOS).
*Develop, test and debug embedded SW for RTOS running on a HW prototype.

Qualifications:
*Minimum Master Degree in Computer Software and/or Systems Engineering
*Excellent command of English language is mandatory.
*Knowledge of C programming and/or model based software in real-time embedded environment.
*Candidate should have a good knowledge of system/software life cycle processes.
*Ability to stay at work until 6PM at least two times a week.
*Software engineering experience is a plus.
*Demonstrated previous software requirements, design, code, and test experience is a plus.
*Knowledge of scripting test language is a plus.
*Knowledge of DO-178B objectives is a plus.
*Experience with embedded SW development and debugging on real target HW platform is a plus.
*Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) is a plus
*Knowledge of Configuration Management tools is a plus.
*The selected candidate must be self-directing and willing to work with various internal and global groups.
*Excellent written and verbal communications skills
*Self – starter, motivated and taking initiative and able to work independently
*Extremely reliable, trustworthy with highest ethical standards
