IT Deployment Administrator /Linux

We are looking for a candidate for a Honeywell Security team which develops security systems intended for homes
and commercial buildings. Our engineers use the most modern technologies and equipment for designing software and hardware.
It will be a new opened team, first one of this kind in Czech Republic. The candidate will be responsible for developing new technologies.

The key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure that hardware and software systems are fully deployed, implemented and functioning.
• Plan the roll-out process and the sequence of new systems and platforms. This includes all IT-related systems, communication systems and, in some cases, IT-driven security systems.
• Prepare engineering plans, instructions, mapped IT system diagrams and installation technical design packages.
• Responsible for the going-live phase of the project.
• Communicate with all departments on the progress of the project.
• Sets up, configures and maintains organizational networks and system infrastructure
• Develops security related policies and guidelines; applies and monitors the implementation of a security infrastructure.
• Deploys virtual systems and network resources according to specifications based on established guidelines.

Requirements:
• Must possess 2/3 years of varied IT-related experience, including successful IT implementation or design experience
• Must have strong knowledge of one or more operating systems Linux (Fedora, Red Hat) and Windows
• Hands on experience in building and managing virtual appliance with multiple network interface configuration- knowledge of VMware is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• English required
• French or Spanish required
