Contract Manager - Honeywell Bratislava

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Contract Manager will be a part of our international team of Contract Managers located not only in the Slovak Republic but also in other EU countries as well as in India and the US. He/she will be responsible for supporting our business teams with business and contract negotiations across EMEAI region.

Responsibilities:
  • Review, draft, negotiate and finalize contracts and other contractual documents
  • Identify and mitigate risks connected with non-standard conditions
  • Maximize profit and cash flow while minimizing risk in the negotiation of contracts
  • Cooperate with and advise internal clients (Sales and technical managers etc.) on legal and contractual requirements
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with assigned portfolio of customers
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures

Requirements:
  • Master degree in Law or equivalent academic education
  • Relevant experience with an international legal company or with a corporation
  • Experience in negotiating projects; you will be a part of negotiation process on daily basis
  • Very good knowledge of English; it is connected with an international team you will fall in as well as with negotiation with clients from all over the EMEAI region
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contract law
  • Knowledge of (or interest in) common law and major European legal systems
  • Knowledge of (or interest in) intellectual property protection
  • For achieving good results you should have superior communications skills
  • Making good decisions means to have a good decision-making; uses analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment
