Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Ensure powertrain team ability to optimize boosting specifications from component level (especially aerodynamic aspect) to full product level to enable new engine level functionality.

- Deep understanding of aerodynamic requirement (Compressor,Turbine,TwinFlow design) and to couple it to engine cycle approach(U/C, Combustion impact such as knocking,pumping loss ).

- This is a critical aspect to generate innovation in the context of new emission and regulation.

- This impose to have a significant powertrain expertise and understand Boosting and engine coupling.

- Fully autonomous in CFD and related calculation method .GTPower/GTSuite knowledge appreciated.

- As functional innovation engineer, with the powertrain lead engineer, ability to link with PEH's and OEM predev to define requirement and necessary validation test.

- Issue reports and ensure communication with peers.

- Capable to integrate electrification impcat (e-Charger, e-Turbo) and to find specific optimization to ensure differentiation at system level.

Educational Specialization

Mechanical engineering, Aeronautical, Aerospace engineering, Turbomachinery

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- BS Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years running CFD on turbomachinery
- The engineer is expected to concurrently manage multiple tasks and semi-independently plan activities and schedules
- Experience working directly with customers is important
- CAD tools, Windows OS and Microsoft Office general knowledge
- Must be a strong communicator, proficient in English, both speaking and writing
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks and plan activities and schedules
