Job description, responsibilities and duties
As R&D Engineer for Elster, part of Honeywell, you will be able to participate directly in development of new products, providing also continuous improvement of existing portfolio. You will be in touch directly with the customers and production, participating in interesting project on international level. Daily duties:
You will be part of professionals in the international R&D team, but we are still expecting you to be pro-active, bring your own ideas and work independently on the assigned projects:
*Developing of industrial heaters, burners, ventilators,
*Testing of already developed products, as well on prototypes, parts and samples, new materials,
*Seeking for continuous improvement and alternative solutions, sourcing for best development option in terms of costs, time and quality,
*Transferring prototypes into production,
*Contact with suppliers, production, procurement, customers, professional communication in English.

Personality requirements and skills
*Min. bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering,
*Experience on similar role in R&D with fuel gases and gas systems min. 3-5 years,
*Experience working with testing equipment for gas, electric, temperature, flow, infrared, pressure,
*Analytic thinking, working independently, ability to bring solutions,
*Structured, precise and self-dependent working, team-oriented,
*Experience working with 3D CAD SW program, designing of sheet metal parts as advantage (SolidWorks is preferred),
*Willing to travel internationally necessary for projects (just inside European Union, about 10-15 % of working time),
*Excellent speaking and writing English, German and Slovak are considered as advantage,
*Very good communication and presentation skills.
