Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Provides the logistic interface between the plant and the customers on a daily basic
- Receives and solves all the customer requirements, monitors customer orders
- Assures the integration of all the customer orders in the computer system (EDI – electronic data interchange,
JIT – just in time, e-mail, fax, etc.), including new products or products transferred from other plants
• Supervises and reports the customer delivery performance indicator for the in-house customer portfolio
• Defines and implements actions for improving the indicator for delivery to customer forecast accuracy
• Checks the customer ´s weekly demand, makes sure it is compliant with the capacity sold and communicates any exceeding order to his/her direct manager
• Defines and implements actions for improving the customer delivery performance indicator for the in-house customer portfolio (OTTR)
• Monitors the level of the monthly deliveries and makes sure it is in line with the goal established in the SIOP process
• Assures the compliance with the daily and weekly deliveries plan for the in-house customer portfolio
- Works with the production and the logistics department to ensure the timely deliveries to the customers
- Measures and analyses the daily delivery performance, offers solutions for its improvement
- Develops the relationship with the customers, measures the level of satisfaction (VOC) and defines the action plan for its improvement
- Follows the level of delayed deliveries to customers
- Optimizes the special transports to the customers
- Optimizes the FGI (finished goods inventory) level and makes sure it is in line with the goal established in the SIOP process
- Takes part daily in the module meetings and assures the achievement of the required performances
• Establishes on a daily basis the production schedule according to SIOP, MPS and based on the system data, on the data from the supplier planning representative (Site Expeditor), and on the available production capacities
• Creates the productions orders to be undertaken by the production planners and handed to the Production and Storage departments
• Provides support for the production transfers and the introduction of new reference points in production
• Checks on a daily basis the fulfillment of the production schedule, by supervising the production orders from the point of view of components, preparation in storage, completion in production and delivery to the customer
• Participates weekly in the production planning meetings and ensures the elaboration of the necessary data
• Knows and works with specific planning instruments: MPS, MRP, MP3, SIOP
• Optimizes the monthly production level and makes sure it is in line with the goal established in the SIOP process
• Participates daily in the logistics meetings and any other necessary meetings and call conferences
• Operates in SAP and MHS according to the existing procedures
• Performs other duties from the superior hierarchical levels as assigned
• Acts according to the Honeywell conduct attributes and fulfils the performance objectives established by the manager through the HPD system
• Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the plant´s performance: constantly identifies opportunities for losses eliminating and comes up with solutions for the improvement of his/her own activity/supply chain and plant activities
• Observes the obligations and duties resulting from the management systems in production, quality, HS&E areas and other external and internal standards and regulations
• Observes work rules and internal HS&E guidelines in the current wording

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

• Demonstrates ability to create and maintain strong customer relationship (external and internal)
• Is familiar with all aspects of production planning, capacity analysis and production scheduling (MRP / MPS / SIOP)
• Understands Sales, Inventory & Operations Plan reports & analysis
• Has a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Has good understanding of material handling flows and internal traceability system
• Has a working knowledge of SAP, MHS moduls, Microsoft Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications
• Must identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Effectively handle multiple tasks at a time
• Has ability to work well under pressure, responds to new challenges
• Has ability to work in team, puts team success above own interest
• Has ability for interaction with Global SC processes (Demand planning, SIOP, MPS) and Global SC team
• Has strong verbal and written communication & negotiation skills
• Gives and welcomes feedback
• Has good organizational skills with attention to detail, deadlines and commitments
• Is able to function with a minimum amount of supervision
• A six sigma (green belt or lean expert) certification would be appreciated
• Basic knowledge of production plan and inventory (MPS, BOM, MRP)
• Good SAP knowledge
