Mechanical Engineer for Case Conveyors

The Mechanical Engineer performs a variety of product engineering work to support the life cycle of unit handling conveyor products. Responsible for performing product development and product line maintenance to maintain technical quality. Position requires ability to interface with all company departments as well as vendors and customers.

Develop new equipment and enhancements for unit handling conveyors in support of company needs.
Create/revise component and assembly drawings in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD to support current products and new developments.
Work within ERP system to create and maintain component items and BOM structure.
Design/build/monitor prototype and test units, analyze data to determine if design meets function and performance specifications.
Communicate with non-engineering departments to support manufacturing, sales and service of product.
Under general supervision, plan, conduct and report progress of projects assigned.
May potentially direct and coordinate project teams.
Perform other related tasks and duties, as assigned.

Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Associates in Mechanical Engineering with equivalent work experience.
3-5 years’ work experience in mechanical or machine design is preferred.
Knowledge of SolidWorks or 3D System is a must.
Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
Ability to communicate in an effective and clear manner.
Willingness to travel.
Fluent in English.
