Job description, responsibilities and duties
•• Evaluation of x86 based server- and blade technologies.
•• Definition of x86 hardware standards.
•• Evaluation of products and technologies around x86 based server virtualization and cloud technologies.
•• Creation and further development of concepts and operational standards, as well as identifying, testing and preparing bug fixes/patches to keep existing VMware services evergreen and ensure ongoing compliance of the service.
•• Provide 3rd line support to Run and Maintain teams around the globe.
•• Design, develop and implement new technologies/services or upgrades to existing technologies.
•• Keep abreast of technology trends and assess cost benefits of implementing new products and services.
•• Assist the Global VMware Run & Maintain teams in performing root cause analyses of critical operational problems

•• Creative thinker with strong problem solving skills and an entrepreneurial attitude.
