Your day to day activities will include:

- Installation, configuration, upgrade, and migration
- Backup and recovery
- Database security
- Storage and capacity planning
- Performance monitoring and tuning
- Troubleshooting
- Applied System administration of AIX, Sun Solaris, Linux
- Applied Network administration basic
- Install and configure Infrastructure and cluster-ware management
- Administration RAC Infrastructure
- Administer and use Flashback
- Administer Scheduler
- Monitor and manage major database components, including memory, performance and resources
- Perform performance tuning activities
- Install and Configure Database on a daily operational level
- Create and manage users
- Create and manage storage structures
- Understand the database architecture and how its components work and interact with one another
- Perform export and import
