Computer operator is role when you can apply, develop or gain skills in a lot of platforms and in lots of ways. You will be in touch with UNIX, Windows, Applications, Databases or even SAP. In future gained overview will enable you to choose from wide variety of senior roles focused on certain technology or make your way up to senior positons with multiplatform orientation.

In IBM Global Delivery Services Centre you will be a part of Command Center. Their role is essential for clients of our clients in areas as banking, telecommunications, transportation and much more. Imagine someone cannot buy a ticket online or his/her bank application is not working. You will be the one who let people live in casual way without uncomfortable experience.

Your day to day activities will include:

- Monitoring, controlling and operating complex computer systems, networks, applications and/or distributed systems in a multi-vendor environment
- Analyzing first level problems for all systems, resolving and supporting the Systems Management
- Performing batch management
- Alert Management
- Incident Ticket Management - routing more complex problems to appropriate support groups
- Escalation initiating and tracking
- Perform basic problem determination on system and components
- Restart failing components (OS, hardware & applications)
- Perform system recycles
