Junior Analyst

Junior Analysts will be responsible for working closely with our different team members and outside offices with the region as well as and coordination of the Operations Center services. We seek several full-time persons for its global office to assist the MENA and LATAM regional and client services teams with day-to-day monitoring, preparation of client-facing materials, and maintenance of country-specific information.

Main Responsibilities:
 Monitoring open source media in English and at least one of the MENA, EUROPE or LATAM regional languages
 Identifying information relevant to security and business resiliency
 Maintaining and updating country-specific information
 Processing information into client-facing products
 Preparing PowerPoints for client-facing meetings
 Ensures that clients are being tended to and are fully supported
 Is on-call and readily available for security updates, advisory emails, and support to clients
 Will collaborate and work with management to install the necessary additions, whether software, programs, mapping systems, etc.
 You will need to communicate with our different offices in different locations
 Collaborate and coordinate with several teams to ensure operations run smoothly
 Develops research documentation, depending on requests
 Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Competencies:
 Excellent English writing skills, ability to write in a clear and precise manner
 Having Other language skills as such German, French, Russian is considered as advantage
 Academic background in international relations, political science, international security studies, or a related field
 Must be legally able to work in Slovakia
 Familiarity with geopolitics and security-related matters in the region
 Strong research and computer skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and familiarity with social media and RSS feed readers
 Computer skills Microsoft office (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word)
 Ability to work in a multicultural, multilingual team environment and collaborate
 Interested in and general knowledge of Middle East, Africa, North Africa, Latin America, Central America regions
 Thinking outside the box
 Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment background check
