ABOUT THE JOB
Our aim is to maintain the relations with the new and the existing IKEA customers at their best. We understand our customers’ needs, meet their expectations and build their trust in our business. YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
• handle calls, e-mail requests and chat queries to the customers’ satisfaction
• identify customers’ needs and satisfy them promptly and efficiently
• provide customers with simple, effective and satisfying advice or solutions
• engage in helpful conversation with customers also in store sales areas
• actively collect customer’s information that may be useful for improving our customer services
• build good relations with customers so that they trust the products and services offered by IKEA

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

Hungarian - Proficiency (C2) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Czech - Proficiency (C2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Word - Advanced
Microsoft Excel - Advanced
Microsoft Outlook - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

YOUR PROFILE:

• I have mastered verbal and standard written communication in Hungarian, Slovak or Czech (at least one is a must) and English; any combination of the above languages is very welcome
• I have a minimum of one year experience with dealing with customers (e.g. in store, sales, Call centre, Hot line)
• I am customer-oriented, friendly and courteous with customers
• I have excellent communication skills and a superior writing style
• I can analyze customer’s query fast and to their satisfaction
• I can work without being supervised; I am efficient and reliable
• I am computer literate
• I have a willigness to learn and to understand the internal procedures and addressing to the customers’ needs in various situations accordingly
• I am a team player but I also have no problem with completing given tasks on my own when appropriate
• I can work flexible with different tasks in the Contact centre as well as in the sales areas in the IKEA store
• I am aware of the importance of my personal and professional development and I act accordingly
• I can handle stressful situations
• Working shifts are OK for me just as the opening hours which are daily from 9-21 including weekends and bank holidays
