Job description, responsibilities and duties

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Our task is to retain a life-long relationship with new and existing customers. We understand and match customers’ needs and expectations and build their trust with IKEA. Our goal is to serve the customers, even in difficult cases or dissatisfaction, so they will want to return and shop with us again.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
• Active and effective communication with customers
• Close co-operation with Customer Relations department in the store
• Finding solutions to customers’ needs to their full satisfaction
• Following internal routines and legal regulations during the claim process
• Collect information from customers that could lead to improvement of customer services
• Building a strong relationship with customers and strengthening their trust in IKEA products and services

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Advanced (C1) and Hungarian - Advanced (C1) and Czech - Advanced (C1)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Word - Advanced
Microsoft Outlook - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

• I can communicate correctly in speaking and writing Hungarian, Slovak or Czech languages. Ability to communicate in English is a must; different combinations of the languages mentioned are welcome.
• I have at least 1 year experience of working with customers (Sales, Call Centre, Back Office, Customer Service)
• I am customer-oriented, I demonstrate polite and friendly manner towards customers
• I have good negotiation skills
• I work independently, efficiently and I take responsibility
• I am computer literate (Word, Excel, Internet)
• I am willing to learn new things and I am open to change
• I am enthusiastic to work with others in a team
• I am flexible and ready to work in Contact Centre and other departments in the IKEA store
• I take responsibility for my development
• I handle stress well
• I am willing to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
