Our client is an industry leader, specializing in B2B solutions and delivering their services to customers all over the world. Due to their growth and development, we are looking for two candidates for the positon of Accountant - Compliance & Control with main focus on Greece/Poland with knowledge of Greek/Polish and English. Knowledge of Czech is not recquired. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting internal compliance and control and colaborate with the Accounting department. The positions will be based in Prague in the hub for CEE region.

Key tasks:

This position is responsible for coordinating financial accounting activities for the European region as assigned by the Financial Accounting Manager, Central & Eastern Europe (CEE).

For the sub-region, the role will be primarily responsible for performing financial accounting activities to support the Controller function, these include the preparation of journals, month end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, transactional tax returns, management/cost accounting and data collection to support insurance, statutory and tax filings.

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking, ability to control
• Ability to work effectively with multiple complex priorities
• MS Office, mainly Excel
• Working place in Prague
