Job description, responsibilities and duties
ı Installation, configuration and operations of Unix and Linux systems (incl. Backup / restore, OS Patching)
ı 2nd and 3rd level support of the Unix and Linux environment
ı troubleshooting and performance tuning performing

Candidates with education suit the position

UNIX/Linux administration - Expert
Personality requirements and skills
ı Minimum of 6 years of experience with administrating Unix (Solaris) and Linux (RH) systems
ı Unix/Linux experience in Storage environment
ı Experience with Docker would be a great benefit
ı Strong troubleshooting abilities, able to work with vendor escalation as needed.
ı Work cooperatively with technical personnel in other divisions and functions to accomplish enterprise-wide goals
ı Very good English skills (oral and written), German skills are an advantage
ı Desirable are Linux or Unix certifications (e.g. LPIC, RHSA, Solaris certifications)
ı Unix/Linux experience in Storage environment
