Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are currently looking for an office manager experienced in running a small but fast growing office and is enthusiastic to work in a young dynamic and innovative team. This position is a cover for maternity leave.

To efficiently run the Prague office of Swiss-headquartered IT company and provide support for other companies of the group.


Office Management
• maintaining supplies of stationery and equipment, arranging for necessary repairs of equipment and office premises
• managing relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord
• implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
• liaising with clients

Human Resources
• handling staff recruitment, appraisals and disciplinary proceedings
• preparing materials for payroll
• coordinating staff holidays, absences etc.

• processing accounts payables and receivables
• providing materials for the accounting department

• preparing and reviewing staff, client and supplier contracts (no legal education required)

Information about the selection process

This position is a cover for maternity leave; however, employment beyond the ML cover is possible. Start mid-November - beginning of December. Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

• ability to work independently and execute complex tasks
• responsible, reliable and diligent
• good time-management and prioritisation skills
• basic knowledge of HR processes, employment law
• experience in office management
• experience in staff management highly desirable
• good knowledge of English (B2 minimum)
