Located in the Bratislava office, reporting directly to the National Manager with the task to support logistics projects in respect of sales/business development expertise in the SK, the Business Developer /Logistics is part of the contract logistics team SK and has the following responsibilities:

Business Development
• Prepares market analysis and continuously evaluates company relevant information
• Develops, plans, presents and initiates actions in order to define and drive business development
• Develops Business in the business units warehousing and distribution as well as coordination of cross divisional business development projects for other departments
• Keeps contact with local authorities, developers, market research institutes, planning specialists of industry alliances and other market participants
• Prepares logistics solutions and works out contracts to customers
• Drives contract logistics sales projects

Internal Tasks
• Supports the other business development managers / logistics director in ongoing projects with cross selling initiatives, strategic planning and business development with means of reports, calculations, analysis and presentations
• Supports the local management in Slovakia
• Uses internal tools such as V-Log or other for proper follow up of business opportunities
• Ensures strict compliance with KN strategy & procedures (e.g. Zero failure, calculation tools, etc)

Customer Service & Upselling
• Is responsible for satisfaction and relationship maintenance of dedicated clients (meetings, communications, KPI, solving problems)
• Develops Business of existing clients (increasing turn over, new services, improvement operation)
• Takes care for cross communication of clients cases among department
• Prepares reports and materials for invoicing of dedicated clients

Furthermore special projects may be assigned.

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and Czech - Proficiency (C2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Min. of 6 years experience in warehousing (Logistics provider, logistics or warehouse supply chain department)
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Engineering degree achieved
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written, ability to communicate in a diverse environment on a professional level
• Fluent in English, fluent in Slovak/Czech
• Strong analytical skills, excellent planner, good negotiating and presentation skills
• Independent and iniciative personality, customer oriented, sales approach
