Data Analyst for I&C Melody (27909)

Self-starter who possesses strong customer focus and command skills and is comfortable implementing change and dealing with ambiguity.

The Data Analyst will design, develop and support ETLs, scripts and SQL. Responsible to extract, cleanse, and transform very large data sets across multiple data sources.

Ability to collaborate with others, work independently, initiate action, adapt to change, accept challenging and changing IT systems landscapes and changing data sources.

Able to think quickly to find creative solutions to achieve results in time sensitive environment.

Ability to communicate effectively at and between various levels of the organization. Translate technical terms to business terms for wider audiences. Able to evaluate business requirements and in turn identify the relevant and appropriate data sources and fields.

Experience with sales related data is a must - billing, customer, territory, product, price/cost.

Foundation knowledge of conceptual, logical and physical data models.
Working experience with relational data models and hierarchies.

Specific areas of expertise in query building include complex nested inner/outer joins, data merges/unions. Also data validation such as creating unique keys, data quality checks, de-duplication is a must.

Familiar with Oracle, DB2 and SAP environments.

Exceptional Excel and Access skills.
Query tools such as SQL, Clickview, Hyperion/ BRIO is preferred.
