Data Architect

* Lead the data modeling activity on the e-commerce solution, by:
* 1. setting the standards for documenting and maintaining the data model,
* 2. proposing and agreeing the data discovery approach
* 3. assuring the quality of the documented data model
* Proposing, agreeing and assuring the data cleansing solution so as to optimize:
* 1. the rate of removal of redundant, non-Dixons’ data
* 2. availability and performance of the production databases
* 3. quality of the cleansed and retained data
* Propose future optimization of the data model to:
* 1. enhance performance
* 2. resolve duplication / data management conflicts
* 3. optimize data retention strategy
* 4. enable creation of representative test databases
* Documentation and approval of data model standards and discovery approach
* Definition and agreement of the data cleansing technical approach and environments required
* Technical quality assurance of the outputs from the data modeling / cleansing team
* Development and approval of optimization proposals
