Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsibilities:
• Translate requirements/use cases into an embedded software/firmware design.
• Design of embedded software using 8 or 16-bit microprocessors (Atmel, TI, Freescale)
• Support the drive of DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) methodology
• Apply Agile methodology for embedded software development.
• Apply static and dynamic tools for Embedded Software validation.
• Develop detailed software specifications and design algorithms, analyze CPU resources, coding, and testing of firmware to meet specifications and ensure firmware quality
• Write efficient, high quality and maintainable C code (to work on a range of hardware platforms) using industry best practice and methodology
