Legal Officer

We are searching for the candidates to the position of Legal Officer

Job Description:

Provide legal advice to the Czech Branch Office. in connection with all aspects of insurance business (terms and conditions, claims, complaints, intermediaries)

Draft and negotiate revisions to a variety of contracts: vendors, employment, etc.

Cooperate with the regional legal department and support other business/legal units as necessary

Manage and monitor the network of external counsels

Represent the branch office and the regional legal department in state compliance and regulatory matters

Assist in strategic projects and other matters

Projects will include analysis of legal issues and execution of strategies related to such issues

Coordinate governance and risk management


Required:

Native Czech

3 years of legal experience; prior banking, insurance or regulatory experience is a plus

University Degree in Law

Ability to work independently and demonstrates a high degree of initiative

Exercises sound judgment, detailed-oriented, strong analytical reasoning and problem solving skills

Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Fluent in English - daily using (level B2/C1)

Problem solving, strong sense of compliance and ethicist
