Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your responsibilities:
- Coordination, monitoring and supervision of all work on site being scope of contract including schedule and quality
- Management of Human Resources on site
- Directly reporting to project management in Austrian headquarters
- Interface to local sub-contractors, partners and clients
- Site related contract management in agreement with Austrian project management
- Coordination of deliveries to site with project management and project purchasing manager
- Responsibility for health, safety and security as well as environmental management
- Solid documentation and reporting (e.g. preparation of site records)
- Claim management

Therefore we are looking for an internationally prone and experienced Site Manager.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Higher technical education, mechanical engineering or civil engineering preferred
- Experience in steel or structural facings sector is an additional plus
- At least 3-5 years experience as Site Manager at international sites with an average volume of EUR 1 Mio.
- Fluent English, any other language is an additional asset
- MS-Office user
- Willingness to work abroad, flexibility to relocate for future Waagner-Biro projects
- Well developed communication skills
- Entrepreneurial and cosmopolitan character
- Structured working style
