Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your challenge:

Directly reporting to the CEO

Leading the project based manufacturing facility with 50+ people; responsible for project production, sales, service, quality and administration

Ability to shape the plant for the future by influencing the strategic direction - including market focus, key customer management and production development

Responsible for leading the organization in the existing transformation process

Ability to drive, change and reorganize, while motivating and coaching teams

Ensuring a cost effective and well controlled site

Budget control and reporting

Travelling approx. 25 days/year

Our client is an international group and a leading supplier in his segment with focus on project business and production. The company develops, manufactures and sells its products worldwide. The Slovakian production site is situated in the surroundings of Bratislava (approx. a 1,5 hours drive) with a workforce of 50+ employees.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

Your profile:

Master of technical studies or equivalent experience as well as good commercial knowledge

Minimum of 5 years leadership experience within a project based production environment

Prior experience with leading, change and managing large teams on different levels

Profound experience with the Slovakian market and culture as well as experience in working with different cultures and mentalities within an international group

Strong leadership and people management skills

Fluent in English and Slovak language, any other language can be an additional asset

Business acumen and entrepreneurial understanding

Credibility, professional integrity and gravitas to challenge at the highest level
