Engineering Manager - Injection Moulding (m/f)

On behalf of our Client, an International Company active in the field of RFID solutions for the animal, livestock and textile identification markets we are currently looking for an Engineering Manager (Injection Moulding) to be located in Nitra, Slovakia.

The aim of the role is to lead a team of Engineers and Injection Moulding Technicians to make the injection moulding production in Slovakia a state of the art operation. The candidate will also have a corporate role in the development and implementation of new products.

The tasks of the Engineering Manager are as follows, but not limited to:

* Leading the industrialization of new and existing injection moulding products and processes;
* Ensuring the efficient implementation of new productions, including the definition of process controls based on best practices;
* Defining local and corporate procedures for injection moulding aimed at measuring and improving OEE;
* Being a key player in projects with cross functional teams in constant collaboration with headquarters;
* Responsible for the development of new tools and production lines, in Slovakia and other worldwide subsidiaries;
* Defining maintenance procedures for tools and machines;
* Testing and validating new equipment (moulds, machines, automations);
* Promoting a continuous improvement and innovation culture in the organization;
* Training of local injection moulding personnel (set-up technicians, shift leaders, etc.);
* Being a knowledge centre for the production plant in Slovakia and other worldwide subsidiaries;
* Fostering a safety culture in the workplace.
