IT Project Manager with French - ICS area

DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a world leader in digital security and the top provider of complex digital and smart cards solutions for all major mobile operators, bank houses and public services.

This department is responsible for the design and implementation of software components and products, qualification and integration of third party's hardware in the scope of Government Programs (National ID, ePassports, eHealthcare). Our products span from reusable libraries (hardware connectors, cryptography), desktop applications integrating various hardware (fingerprint scanners, printers, digital cameras) up to high performance servers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate and manage project teams to delivers personalization & fulfilment solutions in compliant with customer requirements
- Delivers solutions at committed time, with quality and cost control to ensure customer satisfaction
- Defines the project management plan and develop all project management related documents
-Provides regular visibility, both internally and externally, on project progress, risks, contingency plan and issues with proper alerts and escalations
-Manages testing and relative activities for customer acceptance
- Ensures handover to the customer support team after project launch


REQUIREMENTS:

- University degree (Master), ideally in MIS/ Engineering/ Computer Science
- Strong Project Management Skills with at least 5 years experience managing IT development projects
- Experience in leading a team, strong leadership skills
- Any certification in project management (PMI or equivalent, Prince 2) is preferred
-Fluent in English
- PM experience with dealing with external customer. Experience in Government area ideal
- Autonomous in customer interface
- Ability to communicate and coordinate activities across many tasks simultaneously depending on project size and complexity
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Initiative and decision making, risk taking and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to inspire and motivate others in team spirit, positive attitude and high productivity
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Pro-client approach with ability to make good customer relations
- Self-reliant, positive, open-minded, solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Frequent travels. Rough estimation is 1 week per month with peaks (2-3 weeks in the project start and final phases)


ADVANTAGEOUS:

- Technical knowledge on smart cards or on electronic travel documents
- Technical background, previous experience as a Developer/ Solution Integrator/ Tester
- French language on communication level
