DESCRIPTION

The Implementation Engineer is part of Centre of Excellence (CoE) team and is responsible for providing engineering support to all UCC implemented sites. The role is based within the Shell Life Cycle Management team within our client.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for ensuring the secure, stable, and optimal operation of company’s telephony infrastructure
- Provide day-to-day support, proactive maintenance, and perform independent complex system troubleshooting
- DID Management - manage DID threshold levels at each site
- Work with site contacts and local voice ops teams to clean up DIDs on the MOC (Microsoft Office Communicator) and PBX systems
- Initiate DID & circuit ordering process and execute follow-up on them
- Manage, order & configure DID’s in DID management tool, voice policies, manage & configure DID’s
- Daily Management of DID process for new joiners & leavers at a site
- Manage contacts with PBX vendors to assure alignment between PBX and MOC
- Respond to and address adds, moves, and changes (MACDs) requests for UCC related items (Snom, Response Groups, Attendant Console)
- Provide reports and communicate to leadership regularly on the status and condition of all data and voice infrastructure
- Monitor the Shell UCC request mailbox and/ My Request Shell internal tool on incoming MACD's
- Communicate with customer, users, Vendors, Internal teams on daily basis
- Weekly reporting on the statistics of MACD's and Incident
- Drive issues to resolution in order to meet customer service level agreements and customer expectations
- Raise technical change requests
- Incident & Problem Management and liaise with ïnternal support organizations (GSCS, H&AS, HAS) to solve and communicate on incidents
- Act as centralized team to capture logs of all issues
- Recognize trends in incidents and make it into a problem, requiring fixes on broader level and not only individual
- Provide input to root cause analysis (RCA) report / post mortem (PM) reports
- Provide feedback on the use of the tools, processes and procedures to further improve the service levels

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with delivering Telecom Projects and Network/Voice implementation - IPT, WAN & LAN
- knowledge of traditional TDM Voice / telephony and IP telephony
- Knowledge and experience with Cisco networking
- knowledge and practical experience with working with telecommunications carriers: Circuit types, circuit interfaces, circuit problem
- Good knowledge of the Telecommunication market
- Microsoft Office Communicator Knowledge and experience
