Job description, responsibilities and duties

JOB DESCRIPTION:
A financial reporting manager is responsible for preparing financial reports and coordinating financial reporting team. A reporting manager's duties range from monitoring company's financial statements and reports to verifying their accuracy and to finding ways to boost company's profitability by proposing actions to reduce costs and increase revenues. The key role of the manager in this capacity is to help management to make important financial decisions that will affect the company’s budget and finances.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide timely accurate financial reports to management and the Board of Directors covering country level (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia) and consolidated (group) level
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness, and conduct analysis of monthly financial statements and other financial reports
- Design, update and generate reports and make enhancement recommendations to increase company's profitability
- Oversee review and reporting of financial statements, and accompanying analysis for management and Board of Directors in accordance with accounting, audit and tax standards
- Engage in on-going performance management of staff including coaching, mentoring, development, training and succession planning to include hiring and termination decisions
- Serve as the subject matter expert and lead on functional deliverables ensuring optimal efficiency in area of responsibility

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or French - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Five years professional experience on financial analyst/ controller/ auditor position including management experience
- Analytical skills with ability to interpret data, make recommendations and influence decision makers
- Excellent at analyzing and calculating numbers and complex figures.
- Ability to consolidate, compare and decipher quantitative data quickly and accurately, make conclusions and recommend solutions.
- Experience in a financial department of an international corporation is a plus
- Knowledge of ledger accounting is a plus
- Capacity to work in teams, and communicate with higher management
- Strong PC skills, preferably Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Access (MySQL)
- English&French capability in speaking, reading and writing is on the level C1
- Master degree preferred
