An excellent opportunity has arisen at Norbert Dentressangle for a International Freight Forwarder to join our team at Divisov. As the International Freight Forwarder you will be the primary contact point for customers and be responsible for delivering an end to end transport plan, whilst ensuring that safety, service and savings targets are adhered to. Working with a team ethos to ensure an excellent and valued service is provided to all customers`, whilst gaining trust and respectful business relationships.

Main responsibility:

• Planning the collection of goods from subcontractors to customer
• Managing the deliveries and problems at unloading
• Review customer routing and provide feedback to ensure traffic plans are efficient
• Meeting current customer needs and proposing new solutions of orders
• Monitor shipments and provides updates to clients as requested
• Investigate billing issues and develops solutions for problems to ensure accurate invoices are provided to the client in a timely manner
• Check current position of drivers
• Effective communication to the customer regarding delays, breakdowns and service issues
• Ensuring deliveries are met on time and in full
• Keep customer Order Management System  up to date with changes to plan
• Negotiates rates with subcontractors
• Managing Subocntracotrs, and communicating all necessary information to the subcontractors to complete the order of the transport
• Review driver performance to acceptable standards
• Checking and taking care of damaged products, writing protocols relating to defective products
• Planing vehicle and driver availability to met servicing/maintenance requirements accomplishing operating results (margin)
• Make a reporting of time of arrivals and departue for inbound trucks from Suppliers and time of arrivale and departur in Customers

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Minimum 2 years of Experience as a Freight Forwarding or Logistics operator
• Experience in a role involving extensive customer contact
• Speak fluent Czech and English or French (essential)
• Speak communicative German
• Very good knowledge of subcontractors in the Czech market
• Knowledge of current Transport and Tachograph law legislation
• Experience of vehicle scheduling
• A problem solving mindset
• A flexible approach
