Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The person in this position is part of an IT Architecture team with the following responsibilities:
* Defines and effectively deploys global architectural solutions (storage, servers, etc.) that meet customers’ requirements
* Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications
* Plays a key role in the technical design, planning, implementation, and a high level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems
* Evaluates manufacturer product and service offerings to ascertain technical and operational viability and sustainability within the ON Semi environment
* Optimizes Global systems performance by monitoring and analyzing performance levels and seeking ways to improve systems performance
* Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project technical leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service to all IT customers
* Provides Tier 3 IT Operational Support as escalated by Service Desk and Operations to resolve IT issues to keep the business running

* 5+ years of experience in system administration and architecting
* Knowledge in more than one of the following areas:
• DNS, Active Directory (Federation Services, replication and site configuration), Windows Server (deployment and automation), Exchange design, operations, and security
• Experience with a wide range of Windows Versions (2003-2012R2)
• Understand how to monitor and interpret specific server performance metrics
• Experience with enterprise PKI deployments
* A successful candidate will demonstrate the following non-technical skills:
• Team player
• Ability to clearly document processes
• Innovation
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Czech and English language
* 5+ years of experience in system administration and architecting
* Knowledge in more than one of the following areas:
