Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an Applications Engineer to develop & promote power discrete and modules products in power conversion applications. This position will be a key enabler in establishing system solutions for power applications using ON Semiconductor Corporation’s power devices and power modules.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and support power solutions for industrial, white goods & renewables applications
* Build and test hardware & software prototypes to verify new product performance
* Generate collateral documents, provide technical training, write & present technical papers
* Perform system level simulations using SPICE and other simulation tools
* Work in a lab with best-in-class laboratory equipment
* Design and present demos for trade shows and technical conferences
* Perform competitive product evaluations and provide inputs for new products

* BSc degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or in a related field
* Hands-on experience with power electronics lab equipment and debugging techniques is an advantage

* Good Czech and English communication skills (verbal and written)
