For our client – an international bank specialized in commercial banking – we are looking for a suitable candidate for a position APPLICATION SPECIALIST who works in Application Operations / Support (AOS) that is supporting an increasing number of applications of the European bank units.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or Czech - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Very good knowledge of Czech and English languages (both written and spoken)
- Min. 2 years experience in application support or similar service oriented role
- Service and customer oriented attitude
- Self motivated team-player and able to pick up new skills
- Strong social and communication skills
- Basic ITIL knowledge is an advantage
- General knowledge of banking products and services
- Advanced use of MS Office
- Good understanding of IT architecture and networking technologies
- Knowledge of databases (e.g. MS SQL Srv, Oracle)
- Basics of programming or scripting
