Job description, responsibilities and duties

For our client – automotive company with a plant in Holland – we are looking for a suitable candidate for a position BUSINESS DEVELOPER TURBO.

Job duties:
- Responsibility for the acquisition process of new projects for the turbochargers (to acquire multi-year, complex projects)
- To make various businesses analyzes within the turbocharger market
- To make analyzes, based on your annual business development plan, the customer needs and tranfer them into successful new projects
- Visiting the clients (usually from Germany, France, Italy…) regularly to build, maintain and develop customer relationships
- Consulting sales orders with production, designers or quality department
- To negotiate with customers throughout the project (cost, price, time, project steps, etc.)
- Work closely with the Engineering, Purchase, Quality and Process Engineering
- Reporting to management Turbo Sales.

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and French - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Degree at bachelor / master level ideally in technical field
- 3 - 5 years commercial sales experience within a technical environment - preferably in automotive industry or experience in business development from technical production company – ideally on international level
- Very good commercial and analytical skills
- Ability to encourage and motivate people
- Very good communication and result driven skills
- Advanced knowledge of English and French
- Willingness to travel (10-20%)
