We are looking for a suitable candidate for a position Junior Database Administrator.

Job duties:
- DBA 1st/2nd level support
- Database maintenance
- Incident and Problem management – escalation to relevant support team
- Performance and capacity management
- Change Management – implementation of change requests
- Upgrades/patching
- Backup/restore
- Daily technical support for test and development systems
- Business travel may be required

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Oracle Database - Basic
Microsoft SQL Server administration - Basic

Personality requirements and skills

Requirements:
- Fresh graduate looking for new opportunity (not necessarily)
- Eager to learn
- 1-2 years of Oracle or SQL Database administration experience
- Basic knowledge of UNIX shell is advantage
- Advanced in English (knowledge of Czech is not required, German is an advantage)
- Stress resistance, logical and analytical thinking
- Proactive approach and good communication skills, ability to cooperate independently and within a team, open minded
- Service and customer oriented attitude
