Job description, responsibilities and duties

The client is looking for:
We are looking for a motivated independent self-starter with strong communication skills to join the Application Operations Department. As Application Support you will be supporting a growing number of applications used in various locations and areas, such as Front Office, Back Office or Finance.
You will be responsible for:
• 1st and 2nd level support (of internal Banking applications)
• Request, Incident, Change and Problem management,
• Application monitoring
• Analysis and troubleshooting
• KPIs reporting
• Participating in on-call schedules, weekend and public holiday support when required
• Contributing as an effective team player

We prefer candidates with:
• Experience in an application support role (ideally in a Banking environment)
• Good communication skills in English and Czech/Slovak
• Italian and/or Spanish on advanced level is a big advantage (in this case we accept less IT knowledge)
• Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills
• Some experience with databases
• Windows operating systems knowledge on advance user level
• An independent, stress resistant and responsible attitude
