Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a professional Regional Sales Manager to represent our company to our customers and our channel partners. This is a field-based position with up to 70% travel.

• Promote sales for all Power Applications product lines throughout Middle and East Europe (Poland, CZ, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldavia, Turkey) - foucus on power market.
• Grow the business at existing sales channels – such as system integrators, resellers, distributors, etc., while developing new sales channels to address the various markets covered by our portfolio.
• Maintain and grow the business at key accounts.
• Manage all channels and relationships in territory to ensure that sales goals are met.
• Visit accounts to win business, forge relationships, negotiate contracts, resolve issues, specify products and promote the use of ours in general.
• Provide sales training to business partners (reps and distributors) as appropriate.
• Work closely with product management, inside sales, and customer service to ensure the required level of service is provided to the customer, on-time.
• Provide periodic reports to sales & operations (S&OP) process, including forecast info and performance to plan.
• Maximize profit margin while maintaining customer base.

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

• BS Engineering; EE preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• 10+ years in a technical sales environment with account and/or territory management experience in power, telecom, industrial power and/or electronics applications.
• Knowledge of strategic selling techniques and TCO approach.
• Knowledge of the power supply market with previous power supply experiences a must.
• Ability to understand power supply technology and engage in related discussions with customer.
• Demonstrated success with effective time and territory management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to present to and communicate effectively with customers and internally, at all levels.
• Works effectively under pressure. Gets things done – moves projects along and follows through; knows how to break down and track the related tasks. Displays a sense of urgency and possesses high energy.
• Proactive and customer-oriented. Can multi-task and prioritize. Meets deadlines. Detail-oriented.
• Must be able to solve complex problems, working independently or part of a team.
• Can work independently and without close supervision. Highly dependable.
• Computer-literate in MS-Office and on-line database tools. Can create effective messages and presentations.
• Geographically located in and able to relocate to the appropriate sales territory.
• Can cope with frequent travel.
• Ability to obtain visas/travel permits in various countries.
• Will use home office – must have space/set-up to work effectively and productively.
