Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Project Manager Jr. will drive an NPD and/or VAVE mid-size projects to achieve phase review closure within defined targets mentored by PMO. Performs all activities related to schedule and resource management, leading and facilitating the core teams to achieve the project objectives staying within budget and project schedules. Chair customer calls and provide regular update to senior management.

- The Project Manager Jr. assigned for each particular project will have to fulfil all requirements allowing a project to advance through the life cycle stages.
- The Project Manager Jr. is going to act as a cross-functional leader and works with cross-functional team to address all matters pertaining to the project.
- Ability to establish and manage Core Team and Extended core teams.
- Creates initial Project plan with inputs from the core team members which supports project goals. Leads the project core team to execute agreed Project Plan. Demonstrates ability to work with Core Team Members within three continents (Europe-Asia-America).
- Establish project budget, Project trackers, product cost trackers, etc. and ensuring closure on checklist items.
- Track, monitor, manage and report Project status scope, schedule, resources and budget.
- Manage and communicate identified risks with mitigation tasks to the project sponsor and/or PAC members on a regular basis.
- Conduct lessons learned review and communicate corrective actions to the responsible functional managers for future improvement.
- Conducts Phase Gate / Milestone reviews with PAC members and seeks approval for next project phase to continue after each phase completion.

- University education in project management field OR 2 - 3 years’ work experience in handling projects or being Project Coordinator.
- Experienced in the use of project tracking tools, methods, and software.
- Works extremely well in a team setting, fosters cooperation.
- Highly motivated and self-driven.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills; must have a high energy level and be capable of multitasking.
- Demonstrates relentless pursuit of results; ability to recognize what delivers success and adjust methods accordingly; multitasking capability; ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
