For our client, an international company which is a leader in IP networking with proven expertise in delivering secure, reliable and scalable next-generation infrastructure and subscriber solutions, we are looking for suitable candidates for the position of Certification test engineer

Job description:
• Design, implement and test specific telecommunications network configurations in a lab environment. Employing components from various vendors for the purpose of validating interoperability, including interoperability with various SIP service providers‘ SIP trunking services.
• Interface with Service Provider and 3rd Party Vendor personnel to coordinate test definition, execution and results acceptance
• Develop test strategies and test plans based on interoperability testing requirements
• Execute test cases and document test results using accepted practices
• Report found defects to the Engineering Dept. for resolution.
• Work with Software Engineering to verify resolution of identified software defects
• Work to develop professional quality AppNotes for public consumption

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

We require:
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to interface with partners, third party vendors and SPs.
• Fluent in the English language
• Knowledge of enterprise communications systems such as Avaya CM & ASM, Cisco UCM, MS Lync 2010/2013, Sonus SBC, Oracle/ACME and Genesys SIP Server a plus
• Knowledge of Access Control List (ACL) principles a plus
• Knowledge of Internet layer protocols such as IPv4, IPv6, and ICMP etc.
• Extensive experience with telephony signaling protocols SIP, H.323, H.248
• Extensive experience with transports such as UDP, TCP, TLS is required
• Extensive knowledge of message capturing and filtering
• Strong knowledge of Linux and UNIX operating systems and syntax
• Shell scripting (Perl, KSH, CSH, and BASH) and process automation knowledge is a plus
• MySQL and/or Oracle experience is a plus
• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
