Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Work together with account managers and partners to establish and understand the customers’ requirements
- Present in-depth product demonstrations (on-site and via the web) tailored to the customers’ requirements
- Respond to technical and functional information needs in a timely manner
- Provides technical support in sales proposals, presentations, product demonstrations, and other client communications
- Develop use case demonstrations and proofs of concept in collaboration with sales, and product development
- Liaise with the Product development team to maintain a detailed working knowledge of the application and development roadmap
- Participates in the opportunity analysis processes; gathers and assesses customer needs, both business and technical
- Actively identifies new sales opportunities.
- Facilitates smooth transition from sales to implementation by orienting the appropriate teams to the solution design.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Sales Managers and actively participate in sales meetings.
- Participate in strategy sessions for new client on-boarding, leading technology and integration discussions.
- Implementation support for Account Managers and Management Team
- Plays an integral role in the sales process utilizing knowledge of products and their capabilities to assist sales executives in addressing client/prospect requirements
- Participates in business requirements review with client/prospect.
- Interacts with vendors and other organizations where appropriate to evaluate third-party vendor opportunities and solutions

Information about the selection process
This role is ideally suited to either a candidate with previous sales/presales experience with financial software products , or candidate with previous experience in corporate finance (cash management, liquidity planning and controlling) with a desire to move into a PreSales/Product Specialist role. Self-motivated , high energy with sales experience or experience from corporate finance.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree required in Economy, Finance or Financial Mathematics
- 2+ years of previous experience from corporate finance or IT market sales/presales
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: liquidity planning, forecasting, cash management, treasury processes, MM/FX instruments, Financial Derivatives, Financial controlling
- Domain expertise in sales methodologies and/ or sales processes is a plus
- Outstanding written and verbal communication (including presentation) skills are required
- Ability to articulate key messages clearly and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Self- motivated and creative; having the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges
- Ability to think conceptually on the fly
- Adaptive to change, having comfort in fast-changing technology environment
- Clear commitment on the job role for minimum of 2 years
- Must be willing to travel domestically and possibly internationally up to 25% of time
- Analytical, structured and hands-on working attitude
- Must be able to coach and train as needed
- Fluent in the English, both written and spoken
