PRISMA European Capacity Platform is the new brand for European gas capacity booking. With the foundation of PRISMA, major European TSOs have bundled their collective experience in the field of capacity booking platforms in order to create a joint European capacity platform. The platform, which was launched in April 2013, is able to handle different capacity products, offer auction mechanisms and serve different TSO backend systems.
Linking the gas markets of ten different countries in the core of Europe, PRISMA opens new possibilities for cross-border gas transport to shippers, who can book primary and trade secondary transport capacity at European network points through one single platform.
