Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Directly manage projects (PM) from start-up to completion, including change management.
Plan and organize projects activities, establish project governance models and staffing profiles.
Develop project Key Performance and Success Measures (KPIs).
Responsible for achieving the project objectives.
Manage quality, timeliness and cost of the project deliverables.
Maintain control over the projects status.
Manage some aspects of project expenditure and budget.
Overall Stakeholder management.
Ensure all Infrastructure services are delivered in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements and agreed Project Plans.
Develop/maintain all required project documentation
Provide monthly forecasts for projects, ensure actuals are booked on time and a current financial overview is maintained.
Acquire internal and/or external resources to accomplish project objectives.
Lead and manage project resources.
Identify, manage and remediate project risks and issues
Cooperates to ensure appropriate involvement of project Steering Committees including status reporting and resolution of escalated issues.
Manage escalations with various internal support groups (e.g. service lines) and external service providers.
Report project / program status through defined PMO / GIS channels.

Personality requirements and skills

At least 8 years of experience in IT Project and Program Management – with a proven track record of leading multinational-, multicultural infrastructure projects on time, quality and budget
Good awareness of Security, Identity and Access Management and Collaboration technologies and trends – key areas of interest include: Security Services (Patch Management, Vulnerability Scanning, AntiMalware) , IAM (Identity and Access Management, Active Directory, PKI, Federation Services), Collaboration Infrastructure Services (Sharepoint, Exchange, Citrix, Windows 8)
ITIL v3 certification
Formal Project Management accreditation preferred (PRINCE 2, PMP, CAPM etc)Demonstrable leadership skills within a global matrix organization
Ability to lead global, multicultural teams
Excellent budget management skills
Excellent communication and change management skills
Vendor management / service management skills.
Strong understanding of business requirements.
Ability to work in global matrix organization and in multicultural and virtual teams.
Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
Fluency (written and spoken) in English, other languages an asset.
