Senior Linux administrator

Perform administrative tasks on application and database servers and recommend methods to automate those tasks were applicable. Responsible for the day to day maintenance of product environments. Maintain business critical production environments and ensure that the company networks have absolute availability. First point of contact for performance analysis, scalability and service architecture/database administration issues. Improve documentation on current system procedures. Provision new servers into dev, qa and production environments. Work with Release Engineers to promote updated product applications.

Responsibilities:

Writes automation scripts and integrates with monitoring and reporting tools. Works well with other groups to implement tasks/projects. Participate on on-call rotation and off-shift maintenances. Execute on deployment of new technologies defined by Engineering staff. Perform tasks that enhances data management such as backups, security, compliance and performance.
