Summary:
Security Project Manager will coordinate and manage complex, global security technology initiatives and act as a subject matter expert in this area. This person will require exceptional project management skills, attention to detail and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage security technology projects from initiation to closure.
Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project deliverables, including technical/security requirements, detailed project plans, milestone charts.
Drive implementation of proof-of-concepts to validate that a solution meets the business and security requirements.
Partner with Security and IT teams to create Security Technical Documentation (architectural overviews, SOPs, system configurations, security requirements).
Drive and participate in Security Assessments to measure the effectiveness of security controls against defined threat models through planning, data collection, analysis, reporting.
Manage project budget and resource allocation.
Work with Senior Program Manager to refine current program management strategy, processes, tools, techniques.
Effectively utilize project management, reporting and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Power Point, Visio, Confluence, SharePoint.
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years of Project delivery experience in a high tech fast paced environment.
A minimum of 2 years of Systems Security engineering experience.
Experience with agile, scrum project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Kanban, VersionOne, JIRA).
Be familiar with industry standards, guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements related to information security and cloud computing such as ISO 27001, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, SOC2 etc.
Experienced in managing security/technology projects involving cross functional groups.
Excellent decision-maker, able to agree on consensus smoothly manage conflicts. management.
Ability to communicate and act upon risks appropriately.
Strong analytical and communication skills, a risk mitigation mindset and exhibit appropriate levels of urgency.
