For our client, a prestigious international production company, REED is currently looking for a Strategic Purchaser. As the Strategic Purchaser you will be responsible for: supplier management and relationship in accordance with global sourcing strategies within the given category – e.g. metal, plastics, glass. etc.
The responsibilities of Strategic Purchaser also include:
* Improving suppliers´ performance according to the company action plan
* Optimizing purchasing processes in order to make changes and improvement for supply chain in general
* Follow supplier development, as well as new materials and technologies development
* Communicate with logistics, quality and product development in order to improve the purchasing and supply chain process

* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, proactive mindset, ability to influence people positively
* Willingness to travel (up to 70% of time)
* Fluent English, Czech language is not required
