Job description, responsibilities and duties
REED is seeking for German + English speakers who are ready to develop their career in business processing outsourcing centre in Brno, Czech Republic. Successful candidate should be experienced in application support and should have good knowledge of OOP principals. Brno outsourcing center is really multicultural workplace where you can find employees from 30 countries under one roof.
The Role
• Work in a distributed team and collaborate with onsite and offshore teams.
• Identify issues by debugging production log files and analyzing error codes.
• Analyze the configuration and Monitor health status of IT systems (e.g. web servers, application servers, databases, network infrastructure)
• Forward error analysis results to the application vendor if required
• Provide and discuss solutions or workarounds for Production issues in German language
• Work within agreed Service Level Agreements
• Active participation in taskforce distributed over several locations

• Experience in 2nd Level IT Support
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written in German and English
• Ability to multi-task on a daily basis.
• Understanding of OOP principals (JAVA or .NET, SQL, XML)
• Working Knowledge of Windows, UNIX, Linux
• Experience in supply chain or warehouse management would be a big advantage
• Flexibility with working hours – Core hours are 8am to 5pm with one in four weeks on call providing round the clock support (on call allowance payable)
